ROTTWEILER STUD DOGS dot com is a promotional website for ethical breeders. RSD will also be an educational website for people just getting into the breed or who have a desire to learn more about the breed. I want to fill you in on some facts of why I created this website and who can and cannot advertise on it and why.

I did not create this website to make money. Yes, there will be a fee to advertise. All money earned will be invested in the cost of maintaining, hosting, promoting and improving the RSD website. A yearly fee will also help to deter unwanted advertisers and keep the database up-to-date on a regular basis. Always remember, you get what you pay for.

RSD does not allow any ole' Rottweiler stud to be promoted. Yes, I will turn away dogs whom I do not deem eligible, according to ethical standards, to advertise here. This website was not created to make you feel better about your dog because he is "pretty" or "I got him from a really good breeder so he should produce nice puppies." Just because your dog may have good bloodlines and an AKC registration does not mean you should breed him. Breeding is a complex science that should only be handled by people who know what they are doing and why they are doing it. Classic example; TO BETTER THE BREED

Read the requirements before contacting me about advertising. If you send me an e-mail and it is obvious that you have not read the advertising requirements, I will most likely delete it and you will never hear a reply from me. I am not trying to be mean, but I also refuse to beat around the bush when there are so many people breeding just to make a profit from "my" breed, and many others, without caring about the long and short term consequences. IGNORANCE IS NOT BLISS.

Do I breed Rottweilers myself? No. As much as I love the breed and would be interested in getting involved in the breeding industry, I do not have the facilities or extended knowledge to do so. I own a Rottweiler, and he is awesome, beautiful, excellent bloodlines, great conformation, perfect temperment, but he is MINE, so I may be a little biased. I would never breed him based on those standards alone. It takes more than just a pretty face to succeed, that is why breeding should be left up to the professionals. Much time and money goes into properly showing, training, promoting, testing and certifying breeding quality Rottweilers.

So.. if I am not profiting, I don't breed, why create RSD? SIMPLE! I love the Rottweiler breed! From the click of a button, I can appreciate some of the most beautiful, qualified and proven Rottweiler stud dogs in the world and I want to be able to give other enthusiast that same opportunity! RSD will also be a reliable source to help connect ethical breeders to each other and help buyers find quality puppies to purchase as a lifetime friend, companion and family member.
